Happy August!

For this month's new blog title I thought I'd do something a little different. Instead of showing a character or person or something I've been working on I thought I'd go with something a little more mechanical.

So, here is the airship OilCan Drive use to get around from music gig to music gig in the wastelands of future America. It's called a Cloudhopper and, while the band didn't actually steal it themselves, let's just say that they'd be in a lot of trouble if any law enforcement type was ever allowed close enough to run its ident-tag numbers.

But, they did pay for it. I swear they did.

They just like to think they got themselves a really good deal on it.

Happy August!

Manu, I've seen a few episodes of the show but never followed it regularly. I may have to see if I can get the Cowboy Bebop movie from Netflix now. Thanks for the advice!

I can totally see Kenner making the Cloudhopper toy. Comes with proof-of-purchase for mail-in Henry figure!

Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime serie for a long time (with Captain Future too which was very intelligent). I'd like everyone in the world know it ! : P

The movie has a different atmosphere. It's slower and i would say, more "japanese" in its reflection. I had to watch it several times to understand some contents.

It is a good thing you already know the serie before seeing the film, because when you watch it, you don't realize the action scene is located on Mars ! But the animation and as usual, the music, are excellent !

There are one or two great action scenes, and a wonderful pursuit sequence near the end, i won't tell more for not spoiling lol

Rob, any toy deal I make has to include all four members of the band being available. I'd have to come up with some new character that would be the mail-in-only offer. Hmmm... who could it be.

And Manu, Cowboy Beebop is still on my list of things to watch.
