A real friend is the one who will laugh at you when you're down.And this is probably one of the only times I've actually attempted to render a sunset in black and white. I'm amazed I had the nerve to try such a stunt. But, it was a vampire story. And what vampire story is complete without both a sun going down and a sun coming up scene?

Ah yes, back in the days where I actually had to letter these pages myself. Thank God I have a computer to do all that tedious work now. But, glad you like the idea. It's interesting going back and seeing what I techniques and ideas I had in my head before I went to the Kubert School.
