I'm starting on the newest round of Sports Illustrated Kids "What's The Call" Illustrations this week so I thought it would be a perfect time to show off the finished pieces from the January/February issue.
Here's the scenarios:
1. In an NFL game a QB throws a pass into the end zone that is caught
simultaneously by both the receiver and the defensive player (they both have both hands gripping the ball). The defensive player has one foot out of bounds and the receiver has both feet in bounds. Is it a touchdown for the offense?
2. A jockey falls off his horse during a thoroughbred race but the horse still finishes first. Is it the winner?
3. An ice hockey passes to a teammate but the puck hits off his teammate's skate and goes in the goal. (no kicking motion)
So, you tell me, what's the call?
