Just a few little touch-ups...

...and we'll call this piece inked and done!

I started inking this new pin-up piece last night after dinner and just couldn't stop until it was all done. Inking the hair alone took me more time than the rest of the piece combined! But it was fun and I can now say I've drawn a pretty girl with dreadlocks.

Now it's off to scan her into the computer, clean the piece up a bit, and add some color!

While most people seem to be moaning and groaning that the work week is beginning again after the holidays I, for one, can't wait to get back to it! I just love what I do too much!

As for the rest of you, I hope you survive the day!

Nice indeed ! With the different thickness of the strokes, the locks seem stiff like real ones ! That's very good ! I'll try to remember this point is one day I have to draw this kind of hair ! ^^

Thanks Jeff! And Manu, thank you as well. With inking, it's all about the varying thick and thin lines. It seems the older I get the thicker some of my line work gets. But, I'm loving it and I'm glad you're enjoying the results as well!
